Fairbanks International Airport is our closest airport, it is a 2 hour drive from Healy. You can take the train or rent a car to get to Healy, team up with your friends on car rentals!

EarthSong Lodge & Denali Dog Sled Expeditions

Earth Song Lodge is our personal recommendation, and they will be giving our guests a discount! It is the closest lodging to where we live on Stampede Road and is so charming and has amazing views. Fun fact, the coffee shop on site, Henry's Coffee Shop, is named after a sled dog, who is named after Henry.

Aurora Denali Lodge

This is the lowest cost option we've seen aside from sharing an Air BNB! We have 17 rooms blocked from June 19- checkout on the 25th. When you book your room, you can shorten or extend the stay based on their availability. Aurora Denali Lodge Room Options: Single Queen Room: $209 ($224.69 w/ tax) - 1 queen (3 people max) Double Queen Room: $219 ($235.43 w/ tax) - 2 queen beds (5 people max) and a microwave, fridge, table, sleeps 4 and rollaway for 5, no extra cost for rollaway bed Suite: $239 ($256.93 w/ tax)- single queen double suite (5 people max) with hide-a-bed Number of people CANNOT exceed the maximum per room. There’s not enough rollaway beds for all rooms so an air mattress might be a good idea for the 5th person.

This place is absolutely stunning! Located closer to the park up on a huge hill.

Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge

This is a big hotel closer to Denali National Park, very popular for cruise guests but I believe they book other guests as well. Beware though, I've heard that if they over-book the hotel they will bump out non-cruise guests to a less desirable option. I know we have some cruise lovers in the family so I found a few Princess cruises that either start or end in Fairbanks. If you're searching for cruises, the stop nearest us is "Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge." If you're interested, I found some cruises that might be good options, I'll send you the link!

Healy has a lot of nice Air BNB's, this might be a great way to save money! We have a lot of guests from out of town so try to team up if you can!

This is the closest RV park to Healy. You might be able to find some good free parking spots if you go this route!

Rental Car

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

This seemed to be the cheapest option out of the rental companies I looked into. Feel free to use whatever company you prefer!

Train

Alaska Railroad

Take the Denali Star anywhere from Fairbanks to Anchorage. The train stops in Denali, Talkeetna, and Wasilla on the way.
