6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Wear your comfortable outdoor gear, mud boots are a bonus if you plan to walk in the muskeg (bog).
We want to welcome our guests to tour our home and see how we live. We'll start with a group tour of our cabin, then walk down the driveway to Henry's parents' house, about 1/4 mile walk on a gravel road. There we can enjoy some dessert and lemonade. This is meant to be a time for wedding guests to meet each other, get a taste of local Healy Alaska, and for Emma and Henry to meet each other's family and friends who they haven't met yet. This event is totally optional and pretty low-key. You are welcome to take a walk in the tundra/muskeg between our houses and follow the trail into the woods, (mud boots might be nice but not totally necessary). When in the muskeg/tundra, please follow bear safety guidelines and leave no trace ethics. Spread out if walking off-trail to minimize impact and have your bear spray handy.
3:00 pm - 3:30 pm
This event will be outdoors in a drive-up location that is moderately easy to walk on. Get a little fancy but prepare to be outside for the ceremony.

Our wedding reception will be outside at Otto Lake Park following our ceremony. We will have big tents, but plan to also enjoy time outside as well! We have the Tri-Valley Community Center reserved in case of bad weather. Dinner will be buffet-style and fish and vegetarian options will be available. A shuttle will be available to get you anywhere you need to go from 10 pm - 12 am. Please let us know if you have any dietary needs or need accommodations.
