NYC has three main airports, but we recommend using LGA for domestic flights and JFK for international flights!

The NYC Subway

The New York Subway is still the best way to get around Manhattan! Apps we recommend downloading for getting around are Google Maps (Emma's favorite) or CityMapper (Brandon's favorite).

Amtrak

For those along the East Coast, you can also take the Amtrak Train. Service is very reliable and puts you into Penn Station.

Travel Note

We Do Not Recommend Renting a Car if Flying

If you are flying into NYC, we do not recommend renting a car. NYC has some of the best public transportation in the world, and Taxis and Ubers are very easy to get. Renting a car and having to find parking will add up very quickly.

We recommend the graduate hotel on Roosevelt Island! They have great deals and an unbeatable view of manhattan. Be sure to check out the Panorama Room Rooftop Bar!

Hilton Garden Inn New York/Manhattan-Midtown East

This Hilton is nice and in a great location in proximity to the ceremony and reception. The rates are average for Hotels in Manhattan, but we recommend booking as quickly as possible as prices will only go up.
