Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can relax and celebrate with us. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly if you plan to bring your kiddo(s) along for the trip to Westerly, and are looking for local childcare recommendations.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

There is about an hour and a half between the end of the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour. We recommend that guests use this time to freshen up before making their way towards downtown Westerly. Take a look at our "Things to Do" page for suggested activities in close proximity to the Margin Street Inn.

Black-tie optional. Ladies: long dress or formal separates Gentlemen: dark suit and tie or tuxedo

Where should we stay?

Answer

The town of Westerly is composed of villages and beach communities. Our wedding ceremony will be held in Watch Hill, across the street from the Ocean House, an iconic Westerly landmark. The reception venue, Margin Street Inn, is located on the Pawcatuck River within walking distance of downtown Westerly. We spend the majority of our time in the Misquamicut fire district, which is equidistant to both downtown Westerly and Watch Hill. We suggest families and friends look into VRBO or Airbnbs for houses, or hotels, in Misquamicut, Westerly, and Watch Hill.
