We met in the fall of 2014 at the University of Miami. It was Emily's freshman year and Kush's sophomore year, and we met at the first tailgate of the Hurricane's football season. After a few months of getting to know each other, and of course attending 'Canes football games with friends, we made it official over dinner at Moon Thai in Coral Gables. From study dates in the SAC and ZTA formals, to birthdays celebrated at the Rat, Saturday tailgates, beach days, and date nights in Miracle Mile and Brickell, our years together at the University of Miami were incredibly formative and an absolute blast. While Kush finished medical school in Miami, we made trips between NYC and Miami, enjoying what both cities had to offer (Emily especially enjoyed escaping NYC winters for South Florida winters). In his 4th year at Miller School of Medicine, Kush spent the summer in Philadelphia and the city was a clear choice for Kush's Otolaryngology residency. Emily joined Kush in Philly in summer 2021. We have loved getting to know a new city together as Kush completes his residency at University of Pennsylvania and Emily leads marketing for Jane Win Jewelry. We are thrilled to be celebrating our wedding with our family and friends in Miami, a city that we love so much.
