6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Join us for a festive night of dinner, dancing, and socializing to kick off the wedding celebrations. The word “Sangeet “ means music. When it is used as a term to describe a celebratory event during an Indian wedding it translates to a "Music Night." This musical night is a celebration of the union of not only the couple but the bonding of both families and friends. Attire is colorful cocktail. For women, we recommend a dress or skirt. For men, a button-down and pants. Ethnic Indian or Arabic attire also welcome!
9:30 am - 10:00 am
The morning will begin with Kush's Baraat. This is a lively procession of the groom, his friends, and family filled with music and dancing (usually the bride's side joins because it is so much fun!). Be prepared to bring the energy! Head down to the lobby and follow the sound of the music to the driveway outside. The ceremony will follow.
10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Please join us for our wedding ceremony, where we will celebrate our union with a Hindu and Christian ceremony. Lunch will be served directly after the ceremony for all guests. If you would like to get in the spirit of the fusion wedding weekend, we would love for you to dress in traditional Indian or Palestinian attire. Please don't feel obligated! For women, an Indian lehenga or saree, or dress. For men, a kurta or pants and jacket. See our FAQ section for more information.
