Rome, Italy

Rome is like a life size museum! Walking around town gives you plenty to see: Il Colosseo (The Colosseum): the city's most famous landmark, this was the site of Gladiator battles in ancient Rome. Cittá del Vaticano (Vatican City): Technically its own nation, Vatican City is home to Pope Francis, the Sistine Chapel, and Saint Peter's Basilica. Il Pantheon (The Pantheon - Kev's favorite building in Rome!): One of the best preserved architectural feats of the ancient world, its open dome allows sunlight into the interior Foro Romano (Roman Forum): This recreated city center was the heart of the Roman Empire. Piazza Di Spagna (Spanish Steps): The iconic steps lead to the famous Trinita Dei Monte church. This area is home to high-end shopping and dining. La Fontana Di Trevi (Trevi Fountain): perhaps the most famous fountain in the world (as seen in La Dolce Vita, The Lizzie McGuire Movie or Roman Holiday). Toss a coin in over your left shoulder, and you'll make it back to Rome again.
