Em met Emily when they were 14 and attended both middle and high school together. After spending their college years living in different parts of New England, both reunited when Emily (F.) moved back to NYC. Once Em & Justin made the move out to Brooklyn, Emily was a frequent visitor, the three even had a standing Sunday dinner (complete with cheese plates, wine and of course, HBO). After moving to San Antonio with her husband Peter, Em and Justin have made routine trips out to Texas which has become their home away from home.
Andre Mastrogiacomo
Best Man
Justin first met Andre when the two were on opposing little league teams in elementary school. Their first encounter was when Andre hit a grand slam off of Justin, even still, the two became good friends. They played many more years of baseball together for Druid Hills High School and spent most weekends hanging out around Atlanta. Once Justin moved out of Georgia, Andre frequently made the trek up to NYC to visit and the two remain best friends.
Lindsey Franke

Emily met Lindsey through their sorority during freshman year of college at the University of Vermont. The two became incredibly close over those first few years of college and lived together during junior & senior year. After graduation, Emily & Lindsey embarked on their next big adventure, moving to NYC together in early 2009. They first lived in a tiny apartment in the West Village, having the time of their lives exploring the city and starting their careers.
Trap Seabrook

Justin doesn't remember a time without Trap. The two grew up across the street from each other in Decatur, and were inseparable right from the start. From attending each other's family vacations to terrorizing the neighborhood on their rollerblades, Justin and Trap became as close as brothers. Trap was even there the night Justin met Emily, having traveled up to NYC to celebrate new years in December of 2009.
Kara Francis

Emily & Kara met in pre-school where they were close friends, but as most pre-schoolers do, they had short memories and forgot about each other once they were split up for Kindergarten, Emily attending Mary Hogan in Middlebury and Kara at Weybridge elementary. The two re-met each other many years later at their mutual friend's birthday party and once reunited in middle school, became de facto sisters and best friends.
Jon Gneezy

Jon could be dubbed as the one who started it all. Emily met Jon during their year abroad in China when both were still in high school. Upon returning to the US, Emily & Jon remained close, even though the two lived in different states. In the weeks prior to attending NYU, Jon found Justin on Facebook as the two were going to be living in the same dorm. Jon & Justin became friends right from the start of college and lived together after graduation. This is where it gets interesting...once Emily moved to NYC after college, she frequently visited Jon's apartment which is where she met Justin. The rest is history!
Jenna Rice
Bridesmaid
Emily met Jenna through Lindsey and the two became fast friends. Once Jenna made the move to NYC, she spent a lot of time with Emily & Justin, making frequent trips to their favorite neighborhood restaurants (Winson FTW!), and spending a lot of time at the dog park with Winnie. Emily, Justin & Jenna share a mutual adoration for music, food-driven adventures in Brooklyn and of course, their pets!
Jorge Mdahuar

Justin met Jorge during freshman year of NYU when the two lived in Brittany Hall in the East Village. They soon became close friends and after graduation, Justin, Jon and Jorge all started living on Avenue D together. Once Emily moved to NYC, she would make frequent visits to the guys' apartment to hang out which is when she and Jorge became close friends.
