Join us in Wares Wharf for cocktails, light bites, bluegrass and dancing to kick off the wedding weekend! This event will take place outside on grass with a beautiful view of the Rappahannock River. Transportation will be provided from Sandy Point.

Wedding Ceremony

Sandy Point guests, please plan to carpool and drive to the ceremony and reception. Transportation will be provided from Wares Wharf and Stratford Hall. The Yeocomico Church, built in 1655, holds a rich history of our nation and strong sentimental value to the Bride's family. The Church stands today as not only the oldest church on the Northern Neck, but ninth oldest in the United States. On April 5, 1732, George Washington was baptized at the Yeocomico Church.

Following the ceremony at the Yeocomico Church, join us at Lynch Point under the tent for dinner and dancing alongside the Potomac River. Sandy Point guests, please plan to drive cars or golf carts. Transportation will be provided from Wares Wharf and Stratford Hall.
