If you’re not within driving distance, we recommend flying into Boston (3.5 hr drive), Portland (2 hr drive), or Bangor (45 min drive). Parking is available at French's Point for all events if you choose to drive or rent a car. The entire property of French's Point is available for everyone to enjoy starting Thursday at 1pm. Some of our guests will be staying onsite and have accommodations starting on Thursday night. Our first scheduled event (optional!) is Thursday evening, so come whenever you can!
There is plenty of parking available at French's Point if you prefer to drive to any of the events. We will provide transportation to and from the Belfast Harbor Inn (official wedding block location) on Saturday before the ceremony and after the reception. Pickup from the Inn is at 2:45pm and dropoff is at 10:15pm. There is one bus so please be on time!
If you're traveling with your kids, they're welcome to join the Beach Bonfire Thursday night, Bride Wars (lawn games) Friday afternoon, and the Farewell Brunch Sunday morning. While we adore your children, for formal events (Welcome Party, Ceremony, Reception), the venue does not have the room for your little ones. Please make it a date night if possible. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Welcome Party: Please dress in summer casual attire, such as summer dresses, skirts, polos, and button-downs. Since it may be hot, we encourage you to wear whatever is comfortable for you. Ceremony & Reception: We kindly request cocktail attire for the ceremony and reception. This could include cocktail or summer dresses, jumpsuits, LBDs, suits (tie optional), or sports jackets with dress shirts. Casual Events (Beach Bonfire, Bride Wars, Farewell Brunch): Feel free to dress in whatever makes you comfortable for these events!
