Flight

Portland International Airport (PDX)

Portland will have the most flight options and is about ~3 hours away from Sisters/Black Butte Ranch. PDX has ground transportation options on its website.

Travel Note

Portland to BBR Drive

If driving from Portland to the Ranch, you will drive on I-5 S until you reach the Detroit Lake Exit (Exit 253), then follow OR-22 E for ~80 miles, and continue onto US-20 E until you take a right turn onto Hawks Beard, then take the first left on Bishops Cap to the Welcome Center.

Flight

Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM)

Redmond has fewer flight options but is about ~45 minutes away from Sisters/Black Butte Ranch. RDM has ground transportation options on its website.

Travel Note

Redmond to BBR Drive

If driving from Redmond to the Ranch, you will drive on OR-126 W for about ~18 miles then will take a right turn onto US-20 W for about 7 miles before taking a left turn onto Hawks Beard and then the first left on Bishops Cap to the Welcome Center.

Best Western Ponderosa Lodge

If unable to book at Black Butte Ranch directly, there are options in Sisters about a ~10 minutes drive from the Ranch. We, unfortunately, do not have a block or shuttle service for this or any other option outside of the Ranch.

Other Rental Options

There are many independently-listed rental options through Airbnb, Vrbo, and other rental companies on the Ranch or in the general Sisters area. We will not have a discount for any of these but there are plentiful options.
