Where should we park?

Answer

Parking at Duquesne University will be in the Forbes Garage located off of Forbes Avenue on the Duquesne University campus. Guests may be dropped off at the door to the chapel on McAnulty Drive, but those parking the cars must use the Forbes Garage. Either park on or take the elevators to the 8th floor of the garage (campus level) and follow maps and signage to make your way to the Chapel. There are limited handicap accessible spots near the chapel for those who may need them. Validation stickers will be available. Parking for the Heinz History Center is available at the 11th and Smallman lot as well as the PPG Public Parking lot located at 13th and Smallman.

Is there a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please visit the Accommodations tab for information on the hotel blocks at the AC Hotel by Marriott and the Homewood Suites by Hilton. There is one other hotel within walking distance of the Heinz History Center as well - Hampton Inn.

Are kids allowed to attend the reception?

Answer

Our reception at the Heinz History Center will be an adults (over 18) only reception. For this reason, we ask that you limit your RSVPs to only those who were listed on your invitation.

What type of attire should I wear?

This is a formal event, so we ask that you dress the part!

Can guests explore the exhibits at the Heinz History Center?

Answer

Yes! All guests of the wedding get complementary access to the museum the weekend of the wedding. You are permitted to explore the exhibits up until the start of cocktail hour. Exhibits will be closed during the main reception, but guests can visit the museum free of charge the next day as well!
