The Hudson Valley is situated right along the Appalachian trail and is known for its many trails and beautiful overlooks, none of which Emily has ever seen. So if you want recommendations, check out Google or talk to the groom's uncle Craig.
Storm King Art Center
Incredible outdoor sculpture garden, perfect for a long stroll. Reservations required.
Hang out in Cold Spring
Walk around the cozy town of Cold Spring, check out the restaurants and shops on Main St., and head to the dock to catch a great view overlooking the Hudson River. We like Hudson Hil's Cafe for brunch and Riverview for dinner, where you can find Emily's parents any other weekend except this one.
Check out Beacon
Just one town over, Beacon's Main street rivals its equivalent in Cold Spring. Check out the Dia art museum and head to Glazed Over Donuts for some custom-made, doughy goodness.
