My favorite story to tell is the time I met my brothers now fiancée when she lost power during hurricane Sandy and came to stay with us. There we were - no electricity, no heat, and a whole 2 weeks of getting to know each other, watching movies based on actors we thought were hot, and having the best excuse to eat chips for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was right then that I knew I finally got the sister I never had and always wanted!

Dave's always had my back since day one whether it was when I broke multiple lamps while we were playing sports in the house to being there for me during grad school. I love playing basketball with him and will always cherish those moments. He never let me win and always made me earn it and I’ve always respected him for that, even if I would cry after I lost. I’ve always looked up to Dave and I’m blessed to call him my brother!

Where to even start with this gem of a human being. Back in the day, we bonded over being minorities in our school and going to Chipotle multiple times a week. A lot has changed since then (not so much the Chipotle thing), and we've definitely seen each other grow throughout the years. Even though we're 300 miles apart, I'll always cherish our 3 hour FaceTime calls that make it feel like we're right beside each other.

We met in 2nd grade but became best friends in 7th! That was the year we would walk to his house and play basketball, video games, and watch Scrubs for hours! In high school we bonded over music and Sam brought me into a whole new world of discovering music. We had some great times at music festivals and concerts over the years and I can’t wait for what’s next in the future!

Not to call anyone out but I'm going to be honest here - the best thing that came out of Theta Xi was the night we became best friends. We share the same love of all you can eat sushi, Halsey, and coffee that gives us heart palpitations, but I honestly don't know where I'd be without our long chats in the car. There's no one else I'd want to share a car ride to Montreal with than you, sister!

My little brother from Theta Xi! Although I’m his big brother, I’ve always looked up to him because he always pushes me out of my comfort zone - whether that was kayaking for several hours or waking up early to meditate. I love our trips to Applebee's and rap sessions in the car afterwards. Brian is someone I can talk to about anything and he motivates me on a daily basis.

You know those people in your life that would drop absolutely anything to be there for you at any time of the day? That's Heather. Our friendship grew quick and fast and I wouldn't have it any other way. Whether we're on our fourth trip to the mall that week, complaining about our salads at Cheesecake Factory, or having heart-to-heart conversations for hours on end, I know this friendship will last a lifetime.

High school gym class is where it all started. Nick invited me to his house and called me his first Florham Park friend; it was an honor! Our friendship continued to grow throughout high school and we then became college roommates, where we ate 90 pizza rolls in one sitting! I'll forever be grateful to him for bringing me and Elly closer together. Thank you for always calling and checking in on me, it means a lot!
