In August 2014, during the second week of our Freshman year at Loyola University Chicago we attended the Invincible Comic Book Club. After leaving early, Ellie spotted Andrew at Film Club and introduced herself. We spent the rest of the time silently watching the weird alien movie "Paul" and wouldn’t speak again until the next week’s meeting. Loyola had a student population of 70% women and 30% men so Ellie knew she had to snag Andrew quick! She decided he was a keeper when they went to see Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 1 in theaters and dropped her phone on the sticky theater floor, and Andrew crawled around to help find it - and the rest is history! Now, after nine (almost ten) incredible years together, we are finally getting married! Throughout our relationship we’ve lived in two different states (IL and D.C.), studied abroad in Rome, survived both undergrad and law school (props to Andrew), and held a mix of full-time and internship positions (including three years of night shift work - props to Ellie). We are so excited to continue to live and love each other the same way we have been for years, but now just recognized in a legal sense!
First, thank you to all the friends and family who helped us plan this wedding! We truly could not have done any of this without your support (both logistically and emotionally - you know who you are)! This website should have all the information you need to prep for the big day, including RSVP, FAQs, our registry, things to do around the venue, and the day-of schedule. Thank you all in advance for helping us celebrate another amazing milestone in our relationship!
