The Wedding Website of Dixie Blair Ivey and Ellie Raelin Perleberg
An important note from the brides: Please be fully vaccinated for covid-19 if at all possible, as we have immunocompromised loved ones attending our wedding and we want to keep everyone safe. Masks will be optional, but it would mean a lot to us if you'd make sure to at least wear one while traveling. We will have covid-19 rapid tests available if you want them - just text us or email iveyandperl@gmail.com Thank you <3
Question

What time is the reception????

Answer

Technically it starts at 6:30...we can't figure out how to fix your RSVP confirmation emails, but if you get there at 6 that is totally fine, we will not kick you out.

Question

Is everyone invited to both the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We decided we needed a very small and private ceremony because we're shy as hell, but there are so many people we love and want to celebrate with. Everyone is invited to come eat, drink, and dance with us at the reception!

Question

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at: Blackhawk Park 1629 Murphy Pkwy Eagan, MN 55122

Question

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! There's a paved walkway from the parking lot to the park pavilion. The bathrooms are also in this area so no rolling over grass is necessary. There's no button to automatically open the doors, but there is a larger stall with hand rails.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything is outdoors at a covered park pavilion. Make sure to check the weather before you pack, Minnesota in October can be pretty unpredictable. The temperature averages anywhere from 51 to 75° F. We'll have a bonfire going after sunset.

Question

Are there any other events this weekend?

Answer

There is a brunch for out-of-town guests on Saturday that will show up and give you all the details when you RSVP.

Question

If I can't come, should I hesitate to RSVP 'no' because it feels kinda rude?

Answer

This one's for our midwestern friends ;) Nope! It is totally fine, we still love you, promise. Just respond either way as soon as you can, no weird or hard feelings.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Casual Cocktail (MN pro tip: bring layers)

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invite and RSVP will indicate this for you. If you bring anybody you didn't RSVP for, tell 'em to bring a chair and a sandwich.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Fried or herbed chicken (with a vegan option), collard greens, mac & cheese, fried potatoes, and dinner rolls. (provided by Hy-Vee Catering)

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes - the herbed chicken, collard greens, and fried potatoes are gluten free. There will be vegan fried chicken from Herbie Butcher. If you have intersecting food restrictions like GF and vegetarian or vegan, please be sure to let one of us know ahead of time and we will arrange an option for you. If Ellie built the website right there should be an option to type that in when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Nope, sorry - but there will be plenty of beer, wine, water, and soda.

Question

What is your wedding hashtag?

Answer

#IVEYANDPERL and our instagram handles are @notblueivy and @ellieperleberg - please tag us!

Question

What health and safety measures will be in place?

Answer

We ask that you be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 if at all possible. *Please* wear a mask while traveling and test if you have symptoms. We'll have some masks and rapid tests available at the event for those who want them.

Question

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Answer

If you have our numbers you can text us, or email iveyandperl@gmail.com.

Question

Will Gucci be attending the wedding?

Answer

An excellent and very important question. No, unfortunately, she will not be there as she really likes to poop in cars and that doesn't bode well for our wedding attire.
