Ellie & Blair first matched in the dating app Hinge. (Ellie screamed and threw her phone across the room when she matched with "the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, ever.") One accidentally ghosted the other, then the other  spitefully swipted left on Tinder - but they finally talked (about Schitt's Creek, of course) on Bumble in April 2021. Their first in-person date was at Dogwood Coffee NE on May 2, 2021. Blair proposed on a Florida beach at sunset in August 2022, then Ellie proposed back to her in front of a dinosaur at the Minneapolis Science Museum in September. And they lived happily ever after...
