Which airport is the best to fly in to to get to Ruidoso?

Answer

The closest airport to Ruidoso is Roswell, NM. It is a regional airport, so a little more pricey than international airports. El Paso is also a good option. It is the second closest airport and will be cheaper than the Roswell airport. You also get a great view of White Sands on your drive to Ruidoso from El Paso.

Where is the best place to get an AirBNB?

Answer

The wedding venue is in Alto, NM (a small town that is super close to Ruidoso). Any rental in Alto or North Ruidoso would be a great location close to the venue! Ruidoso is a small, touristy mountain town so any location would be about a 20 minute drive to the venue.

The wedding location is the Spencer Theatre in Alto, NM. If you use your maps on your phone, simply type in the Spencer Theatre and the GPS will take you straight to it! The attire for the wedding and reception is cocktail attire.

The wedding and reception will be inside of the Spencer Theatre in the Crystal Lobby. We will enjoy the mountain views in the comfort of air conditioning!

What time is the wedding and reception?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be at 4:30pm. In the same venue, a cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony. A dinner and dancing reception will also be in same venue at about 6:00pm.

Answer

There is plenty of free parking in the parking lot of the theatre.

What is the best transportation to take to the wedding?

Answer

Since Ruidoso is a small community, driving would be the best option. Lyft is also available in Ruidoso.

Yes, we have blocks of rooms reserved at Days Inn and LaQuinta. See the "Travel" section of the website for more details.

Since Ruidoso/Alto is a mountain town, the temperatures are typically mild. Some rain showers can be expected as well.

Absolutely! We will have a special kids menu at the reception. Please indicate when you RSVP if you will be bringing your children.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a Prime Rib buffet dinner.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 755 Market St. #2301 Woodstock, GA 30188. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Answer

The wedding reception will end at 10:00-10:30.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a cocktail hour in between the wedding ceremony and reception to allow time for the bride and groom to finish taking pictures.
