When will Ben & Ella be in Rome?

Answer

We're arriving in Rome on Wednesday October 4th and leaving on Monday October 9th. For those spending more time in Rome, we plan to spend Sunday afternoon bouncing around Piazza della Rotonda for some hair of the dog, fresh air and sunshine. This is not an official event, but we'd love to spend as much time with you as possible!

What time should I arrive at the wedding?

Answer

Please arrive at Villa Aurelia from 4-4:15pm so that we can begin our ceremony around 4:30pm. If you arrive early, we recommend grabbing a quick drink across the street at Bar Gianicolo. There are also beautiful spots to see sweeping views of Rome nearby at Belvedere del Gianicolo or Belvedere Niccolò Scatoli. Note both locations are a 5 minute walk from our venue's entrance.

Is there an after party?

Answer

There isn't an official after party being planned, but we will be heading into Trastevere's bar scene when our event ends at 12:30am. Everyone is welcome to join us for a night cap!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend smart casual attire for the welcome aperitivo and cocktail attire for our wedding. Please ensure that your wedding footwear is suitable for walking on grass.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults only event. Please let us know if we can help you find a babysitter in Rome as a few families attending our wedding are looking into this option.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be no parking available and we advise having a taxi or Uber drop you off outside Villa Aurelia's front gate from 4-4:15pm. Please arrange a taxi or Uber to pick you up when our event ends at 12:30am.
