Maid of Honor
Amanda and Bree met sophomore year of high school when the Zubowicz family moved to Warner Robins. Since she is the daughter of a military family, Amanda only stayed in Georgia for one short year before she was off on her next adventure to Germany. Luckily Amanda crossed paths with Amelia and Bree during that year she was in Georgia, because they would be completely lost without each other and the best trio would cease to exist!
Maid of Honor
Amelia and Bree became friends freshman year of high school. Through different friend groups, schools, and stages of life Amelia and Bree always remained close and grew together through their phases. When Amanda came to Georgia, their duo quickly became a trio, and thus, Dumbys was born. Amelia, Amanda, and Bree plan trips across the country multiple times a year to reunite their trio. Their most recent trip was spent in Chicago visiting Amelia while she's in graduate school working on her doctorate!
Bridesmaid
Macy and Bree are cousins but they consider each other to be more like sisters. No offense to her two brothers, but Macy has always been the honorary third child of the Lasater family. Since childhood she has tagged along on many family vacations, weekend trips, and summers spent at Lake Sinclair. Macy, Bree and Shelby have a bond as tight as siblings. Life would be boring without Macy in it.
Bridesmaid
Emma and Bree met in college and gravitated towards each other instantaneously. They are trauma bonded for life after successfully white knuckling through two years of nursing school together. Emma has been a strong shoulder for Bree to lean on in the past few years, as well as, one of her biggest supporters. Emma is one of those friends you feel like you have known forever and then some. They are excited to make more memories together, like getting married!
Best Man
Robbie and Laurence met early in elementary school and developed a fun friendship around sports and games, quickly becoming "brothers". After elementary school, they went to different middle and high schools but continued their friendship outside of school, regularly playing sports with each other and neighborhood kids. In college, they have kept in touch and made time to see each other.
Groomsman
Benjamin is Laurence's oldest brother. Benjamin helped shape Laurence's childhood through being a strong role model, supporting Laurence's hobbies, and being a constant shoulder to lean on in tough times. Present day, they have continued to develop their relationship through work and helping each other whenever possible.
Groomsman
Nicholas is Laurence's brother who is closest in age. They grew up almost like twins, sharing Legos, DS games, clothes, teachers, and a bunk bed. They have always had a close relationship through school and gaming that has matured to present day. Nicholas and Laurence regularly spend time together over lunch and a good video game.
Groomsman
Ethan and Laurence are first cousins born 2 years apart. They, along with Nicholas, were a trio at every family function. They regularly shared vacations, holidays, and birthdays. Together, they bonded over shared interest in sports and games. Ethan brings the party, so be sure to look out for him on the dance floor!
Mother of the Bride
Lori is Bree's lifelong best friend. Lori's fun, loving, and transparent approach to motherhood has shaped who Bree is as a person. Bree could not imagine where she would be at today without Lori's endless support. Lori and Bree love so many of the same things, like beach towns, Big Brother, thrift shopping, and lake trips.
Father of the Bride
Jon is Bree's rock. He is a solemn, handy, and compassionate man who has provided a strong foundation for Bree. Jon enjoys chefing it up, fixing up vintage cars, captaining the boat, and gaming with friends in his free time. If you need a conversation starter, just ask him about his classic cars😉
Mother of the Groom
Laurence's late mother, Jean Marie, was his best friend growing up. She was integral to his childhood. She taught where he went to elementary school, was active in his Cub Scouts troop, regularly played games with him, and got him involved with cooking. Jean was always kind-hearted and patient. She is held in loving memory and will be at our wedding in spirit.
Father of the Groom
Henry has been Laurence's main guide and role model in life, particularly since Jean's passing. He has been a strong influence for Laurence, teaching him how to logically and calmly approach life, even during tough times. Henry has always been a loving husband to Jean and devoted dad to their four children.
Officiant
Shelby and Bree have known each other for over 20 years-- and that has nothing to do with the fact that they are brother and sister. Despite how opposite they may seem, Shelby knows Bree better than anyone and they have a bond only siblings could understand. Even though they are almost 4 years apart in age, they have twin telepathy and can literally read each others minds. This skill makes game nights almost illegally unfair when Bree and Shelby are on the same team.
