What is the dress code? What do I wear?

Answer

Attire should be semi-formal with an emphasis on spring/summer color pallet. For inspiration on what to wear, we have made a Pinterest board for you to refer to. You can also google search what to wear to a spring/summer outdoor wedding for more ideas. Encouraged: light/bright colors, floral prints, ruffles, satin, cotton, linen, short or long dresses, jackets Discouraged: short sleeve shirts for men, dark colors besides navy and blue (avoid colors like black, red, maroon, dark purple), aggressive patterns (polka dots, stripes), heavy fabrics, vests, untucked shirts, white or mostly white dresses, champagne colored dresses (bridesmaids are wearing this) Wear what makes you feel good and have fun with it! Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Your plus one should be either on your invitation or linked with your RSVP on Zola. Please reach out to us directly if you think we made a mistake or if you have concerns. We are flexible, talk to us so we have the correct head count.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of designated parking at The Island House.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. Since there are a lot of guests staying in rental properties, there will not be transportation or affiliated hotels. Please use uber or other ride services for transport if you need it! There is parking at the venue if you do not plan to drink.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Not unless they are on your invitation or linked with your RSVP. Contact us if you have older children (pre-teen/teenage or adult) that you want to attend and they are not linked with your invite. No young children.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There will be a lot of variety in food including gluten-free options! Hopefully there will be something for everyone. But please let us know in advance if you have an anaphylactic food allergy.
