Can I bring kids to the wedding?

Answer

We love your kids SO much, but this is an adults only event!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony and post on social media?

Answer

No! We are asking that our ceremony is an unplugged ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present with us during our ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

If we HAD to make a dress code, it would be cocktail. We want you to feel your best! Wear something you love, but we kindly ask that you do not wear colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride- white, ivory, or cream. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outside on the dock. I would recommend bringing a jacket to keep warm during this time! The reception will take place inside.

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

Our venue can not accommodate ALL guests, so unless your invitation says "and guest" on it then you will not be getting a plus one.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP?

Answer

Nope! You can RSVP right here on the website. Click RSVP on the website. It's as easy as that :) The RSVP option will not be visible to guests until invitations are sent out.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided from the hotel to the venue. There is more information on our website under the "transportation" tab. There is tons of parking at the venue. They have a spacious parking lot. It is also the "off season" in Avalon, so there will be plenty of parking on the street of the venue.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, all guests will move to another area of the dock for a group picture coordinated by our photographer, event coordinator, and wedding planner. During this time, the venue staff will be flipping the ceremony space for cocktail hour. This process will take about 10 minutes. Then, cocktail hour will begin on the same dock the ceremony took place on.

When should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 3:30. Please arrive at the venue any time between 3:00-3:20.

Answer

Yes, we do! Our hashtag is #makewayformcwade.
