Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30. It is recommended to arrive and be seated no later than 4:15.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. The ceremony, weather permitting, will be outdoors and on a grass lawn so you may want shoes appropriate for grass.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors on a grass lawn. The cocktail hour immediately following will be on the covered porch or indoors, as guest choose. The reception will be held indoors. All events are at the same venue.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Weather for Michigan on October 7 can range from snow to full sunshine. The typical weather for October 7 in the afternoon is cool and comfortable – averaging between 50 and 65 degrees. If the weather is inclement (rain or snow), the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

The wedding venue address is 5801 Northland Drive, Belmont, MI 49306. This is about a 15 to 20 minute drive from downtown Grand Rapids where your recommended hotels are. Shuttle pick up will be in front of the JW Marriott at 3:30pm, followed by pick up in front of the Marriott Courtyard. This shuttle will go directly to the venue. Shuttle pickup to return to the two downtown hotels will be scheduled every hour on the hour beginning at 7:00pm. The last shuttle pick up to leave the Club is at 11:00pm. There is free parking at the wedding venue as well. Ubers and Lyfts are also available.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We will be serving light passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a plated dinner and dessert buffet.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes, we have blocks downtown at the JW Marriott and the Courtyard Marriott. Please visit the "Hotels and Shuttles" tab on our website for links to the room blocks and more information.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be unplugged. Beginning at the cocktail hour, please feel free to take pictures, post on social media, and use the hash tag #OnceUponAWohlford

The deadline to RSVP for the wedding is August 26, 2023.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We are registered at Mason Jones, Williams-Sonoma, Crate&Barrel, Amazon, and Target. Links to all of our registries are located on the "Registry" Tab on our website.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
