The castle grounds on which you will be staying is full of fun things to see and do! There is a game room with board games and books available to guests, as well as a pub that will serve snacks and drinks! There are multiple trails on the castle grounds that lead you through picturesque landscapes and across babbling creeks, and a hedge garden maze just behind the castle. Explore the medieval village or have some s'mores by the communal campfire! There are a plethora of things to do without straying far from your personal castle suite or medieval cottage.
Hocking Hills State Park
Find caves, waterfalls, and clifsides open to explore! Capture amazing photos, or live in the moment taking in the natural beauty of the area just north of the Smokey Mountains. Enjoy nature in a fantastic fashion during your stay at the Ravenwood Castle.
Hope Iron Furnace
One of 69 charcoal iron furnaces in the Hanging Rock Iron Region. Check out a piece of American history that was crucial to crafting high grade iron for decades in the mid 1800's!
Equestrian Ridge Farm
If you want to add something more to your weekend fantasy experience, there are horseback tours available nearby the castle grounds!
On Guard Defense Training Center & Shooting Range
For the weapon masters in the group, there is a shooting range not far from Ravenwood where you can practice your skills with black powder weapons!
