When should I RSVP by?

Where is the location of the wedding?

Answer

It is walking distance to downtown Steamboat Springs, so basically in town.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a registry linked through this site on Zola but additionally we are registered at West Elm and Crate and Barrel.

Will you have a room block?

Answer

We have arranged discounts with various different hotels in the area. Please visit our Travel page for more details to reserve your room.

Can I fly into Steamboat?

Answer

Yes. Hayden Airport is about 20 min from town. More expensive, but certainly convenient.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

3:00pm-4:00pm arrival. We'll have drinks and mingling. Ceremony will begin at 4:30.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

For the ceremony, dinner and early dancing yes. We'd prefer kids under the age of 12 to be home or with a sitter when the late night dancing happens (after 10pm). Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

THERE IS NO PARKING ON SITE. We will have shuttle pick ups at certain locations and will communicate the locations and times well in advance so you know where to get picked up.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're calling it "Dressy Casual". First and foremost, we want you to be comfortable. Please be prepared for cooler evening temps and possible warm day time temps. The property is a homestead, with mostly grass and gravel so heels are NOT recommended.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are working on that, so please stay tuned. The Grand Hotel has it's own shuttle service if you want to go to and from town outside of the wedding times. For the wedding/ceremony we we have designated pick up and drop off locations around town.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
