Guests should fly into Barcelona's international airport, Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport. The airport is about 20 minutes from the city center. We recommend you take a taxi or use a ride share service like Uber or Cabify to travel from the airport to your hotel.

- Make sure your passport does not expire within 6 months of travel date. - Arrange international data with your mobile provider or use WiFi when available. - Inform your bank about your travel plans. NOTE: always pay in the local currency (EUR) when using your credit card. - Taxi is the best way to get around. We highly recommend that you download the taxi apps (Cabify or Freenow) ahead of time and create your account while still in the US. These apps use authentication via cell phone and reception abroad can get spotty - Uber is also available - Metro system is also great and easily accessible. - Almost everyone speaks English in Barcelona. - Get a European travel adapter for outlets. - Barcelona is very safe, but famous for pickpockets. Keep your belongings close. - If you want to rent a car, you’ll need a passport, drivers license, and if you're staying in the city, a plan for parking. - Call 112 for any emergency in Spain.
