To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is May 1st 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as a 'no.' We need to provide our venues with a total guest count in a timey manner, we hope you can understand.
We highly encourage you to start booking flights as soon as possible! Flights tend to get more expensive as the travel dates get closer. We suggest looking into Iberia, Tap Portugal, Delta, KLM, Air France, American or United airlines as they have the most options for travel to Barcelona.
We unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those specifically named on the wedding invitation or we've previously approved. Thank you for understanding.
Yes, the dress code for our wedding is Black-tie. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or dark suit with tie/bow-tie and women wear floor-length gowns (colors preferred). We love all of the children in our extended family. However, this will be an adults only wedding week. We want you to fully enjoy this well-deserved vacation and immerse yourself in the celebration. Thank you for your understanding and for being a part of our special day!
We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.
Yes, on the day of the wedding, we have arranged for shuttles to transport guests from Barcelona to the venue in Blanes (about 50 minutes travel time). The shuttle pickup location will be from the Almanac Barcelona. More details including pickup schedules will be provided closer to the date.
This is entirely up to you and what you are comfortable with. Tuesday's Welcome event will be held in Barcelona, so it may be easier to stay in the heart of the city and take one of the provided shuttles to the wedding venue on Thursday (about 1 hour drive). However, if you would like to stay along the sea in the beautiful Costa Brava and have a short taxi/uber ride to the venue, it may be better for you to explore hotel/lodging options in Blanes or Lloret de Mar. If you want to experience both, we recommend you stay in Barcelona for the Welcome event and use the free day on Wednesday to relocate to a hotel in Lloret de Mar or Blanes.
You will need a valid passport that does not expire within 6 months of travel.
The local currency in Barcelona and throughout Spain is the Euro. However, majority of businesses in Barcelona accept contactless payments via Apple Pay/ Tap to Pay with credit cards. For specific street vendors or establishments that only accept cash, there are plenty of international bank ATMs throughout the city that can provide Euros.
The electrical voltage in Spain is 230 volts (V) alternating current (AC) at 50 Hertz (Hz). Spain uses the Type F plug, also known as a Schuko plug. You should purchase a European outlet converter before traveling. There are a variety of options on Amazon if searching for "European Travel Plug Adapter."
