As you can imagine, planning a wedding throughout the pandemic has been extremely tricky to navigate. We will continue to update this information as we approach the wedding day--but here is a list of what is in place at the current moment to help keep you as informed as possible: 1.) All Employees of Liberty House are required to wear face masks. 2.) Compliance of all CDC hygiene guidelines are in place, including regular hand washing and all high touch surfaces are cleaned frequently 3.) All guests are required to wear a face mask upon entering/exiting the premises as well as when going to the restrooms. Once inside the space, face masks are not required. 4.) All cocktail stations have shields between employees and guests. 5.) While we want nothing more than to celebrate with every person in our lives, we do ask that if the day of the event, you are not feeling well, you stay home. We want to keep our families and loves ones as safe as possible and to eliminate any unnecessary risks.
Summer Semi-Formal Attire. August is known to bring the heat--but we are thankful right on the water so there is a lovely breeze to keep the air moving:) The ceremony will be outdoors but Cocktail Hour and our Reception are all inside.
Both of the hotels that we have reserved hotel blocks for are 1.2 and 1.3 miles away from the venue and just across the street from one another.
Yes! We have scheduled a shuttle to transport people from both the Doubletree and the Courtyard by Marriott hotels. The shuttle is scheduled to leave the hotel points at 4:15pm and is scheduled to return guests back to the hotels at 11pm at the end of the evening.
Yes and No. We ask that if you're coming from Manhattan, to use one of the easily accessible options. The Ferry at Brookfield Place/Battery Park City takes 11 minutes to get to Liberty Landing Marina which drops you off 180 feet from our venue. We WILL however be providing a shuttle bus at the end of the evening to get you back to Manhattan at 11pm. It will drop everyone off at Port Authority-Times Square/8th Avenue as a central point for everyone to be able to get home from there.
Yes--Liberty House Restaurant has validated parking for the entire evening.
Yes- both The Doubletree and Courtyard by Marriott have self-parking available for a daily rate of $27 with in and out privileges. The Doubletree also has a local area attraction shuttle available for guest use.
Yes-Our reception is in the ballroom on the second floor and there is elevator access. There is also ramp accessibility throughout the first and second floors.
The beauty of having our wedding at a restaurant is how accommodating they are for anyone with food allergies or specialty diet preferences. We will ensure that there are options for our celiac/gluten sensitive, dairy avoiders and vegan fam.
