If the weather is cooperative, the architecture tour on the river and lake is the best way to learn about the city while sipping a hot chocolate or beverage of your choice. We do this tour frequently with visitors and cannot recommend more!

Wendella Tours & Cruises

The zoo is free and such a fun way to spend the day as well as see another part of the city

Lincoln Park Zoo

We all know Chicago's weather can be a bit unpredictable, if you need a fun indoor activity this is a great one!

Shedd Aquarium

If you make it to the zoo, this is a beautiful but casual nearby rooftop bar with appetizers with views of the city

The J. Parker

Our favorite deep dish and a must try! This gold coast location is closest to the hotel and usually less busy than the Michigan Ave location

Gold Coast - Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

A way to see Millenium Park and the bean from up above, yummy drinks and appetizers

Cindy's Rooftop

Located in West Loop, this BBQ spot is one of our favorites for a casual meal and beer.

Green Street Smoked Meats

If you're a pizza fan but don't want to ruin your dance floor skills by eating too much, Ranalli's is one of the best, specifically the Lincoln Park location. Hang out on Friday evening or watch some college football before the wedding :)
