On-Site Cabins - Sequoia Retreat Center

If you RSVP that you are staying on-site with us, we will send you a link to book a cabin, or one of the several glamping tents set up on site. We will choose on-site housing arrangements for everyone as we take into account accessibility and groups that will easily be able to house together. Most cabins will be shared between 2-5 people (each cabin has a private bath). Per person the cabins Friday-Sunday are $210, and $100/night for Thursday and Sunday. This will include all food/drink for the weekend. You can click the link below to check out some of the cabins we will be sharing for the weekend.

On-Site Glamping Tents - Sequoia Retreat Center

If you RSVP that you are staying on-site with us, we will send you a link to book a cabin, or one of the several glamping tents set up on site. We will choose on-site housing arrangements for everyone as we take into account accessibility and groups that will easily be able to house together. These 16.5' x 9' tall circular tents will have real beds and a clothes rack to hang up your fancy clothes, among other amenities for the weekend. Tents sleep up to 4 people and share a tent village double bathroom. Tents are booked Thursday to Sunday for guests. It will be $800 from Thursday to Sunday ($67 per person/night). It will have 2 queen beds or 4 twin beds, depending on who is booked in the tent. This will include food and drink for the weekend. Quality Inn & Suites Santa Cruz Mountains

The closest hotel to the venue at 1.5 miles away. We have 15 rooms held under "Diebold and Heye Wedding" until June 30th. We have a special rate of $209 per night (with a 2-night minimum). We will have shuttles running from this hotel to the venue on the day of the wedding. There are several other hotels in the area if you prefer to look elsewhere (we were also suggested the Best Western Plus Inn Scotts Valley for a fancier, modern hotel).

Brookdale Lodge

The 2nd closest hotel to the venue at 2.8 miles away. We have 11 rooms held under "Heye Diebold Wedding" until June 30th. This is a historic, rustic lodge and is well-known in the area. We have a special rate here of $259 (King) and $279 (Double Queen) per night (with a 2-night minimum). We will have shuttles running from this hotel to the venue on the day of the wedding. There are several other hotels in the area if you prefer to look elsewhere (we were also suggested the Best Western Plus Inn Scotts Valley for a fancier, modern hotel).

BYO Tent - The Sequoia Retreat Center

For a low-cost option, we have a limited number of extra open camping spaces available on-site. You could bring your own tent and set up camp. If you are interested, please reach out to us directly!

Travel Note

Parking - Day of the Ceremony

There will be NO parking at the venue on the day of the ceremony. For everyone who is coming in just for the day on Saturday, or who is coming from other hotels in the area besides the Quality Inn, we will be reserving a parking lot nearby and will be running shuttles to pick people up before the ceremony, and drop off after. Parking lot address: St. Peter and Paul Church 9980 Hwy 9 Ben Lomond, CA 95005 We just have the smaller lot at the church. See the link below for approved parking zones.

Carpooling Encouraged!

For anyone driving from a big city, driving past one of the major airports, or those flying into town, we are hoping we can all save some money, some time, and some emissions by making it easier for folks to share a ride. This will also help make sure everyone's cars will fit on-site, if you plan to stay for the weekend (as parking spots are limited). See the below link for a carpool document to coordinate who has extra spots and who needs a ride. Feel free to reach out to us if you need any other help.

Shuttle

Shuttle Service

August 1, 2020 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Shuttles will be available Saturday, and will provide pickup and return services from the Quality Inn, and off-site parking at the St. Peter and Paul Church. Shuttle pickups will take place between 2:00-3:00pm. If you arrive to the parking lot later than 3:00 you may need to call a Lyft to take you to the venue. The shuttle will be making loops to/from the venue. If there is no shuttle when you arrive, please just wait in the parking lot and it will return shortly. *Return Shuttle Service will begin at 9:00pm and continue to 12:00am
