Allyson is my best friend for as long as I can remember. She is a 2nd-year medical student at Ross University School of Medicine. Words can't describe the love and support we have had for each other throughout our friendship. We often traveled in pairs since middle school. We were often mistaken for sisters or twins by friends and strangers. Our favorite thing to do is make new choreography, eat, and host jam sessions in every car ride we take.
Danielle Brown

Danielle is my older (and only) sister from Miami, FL. She’s my Rider for Life! Our 2019 Vegas Trip was definitely one for the books! She’s the owner of J Amor Sweets (The BEST cupcakes and treats you’ll ever taste). Danielle is the mother of my amazing 10-year-old nephew Jordan, who she’s raised to be the perfect gentleman. She’s definitely my inspiration. Check her out though!
Michaela Satchell

Michaela is my best friend and partner-in-crime for adventures! In high school, we were thing 1 and thing 2 in basketball, cheerleading, and soccer in high school. She is a registered nurse from Albany, GA. Our favorite things to do is travel, eat good food, and watch random shows on Netflix. I call her "Sissy" because we both have Jamaican dads and have each other's back for life! She always has the best advice because she always keeps it real. She inspires me to stay true to myself and always remember to laugh!
Ka'Necia Martin

Ka'Necia and I met in our Master's program at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) in 2018 and have inseparable since! She is from East Atlanta, GA. She is a 2nd year medical student at MSM. We are complete opposites, but that is our strength. She’s full of joy and tons of wisdom. Our favorite thing to do is travel, drink wine, and chill on the beach.
Aepril Smith

Aepril and I became lifelong friends in 2015. She is an Account Manager in marketing. She was my first roommate at the University of Georgia. Initially, my chipper personality alarmed her, but she eventually warmed up after we shared some of our aspirations, hopes, and fears. Now, we laugh every time we meet. Her smile lights up any room. She always has the best advice because she always keeps it real. She is my biggest hype man and major supporter.
Panette Griffin

Panette is Kevin's sister who has become my confidant like a big sister would. She is a diagnostic medical sonographer from Stone Mountain, GA. We met in 2016, and she has been a constant source of love and wisdom. She is patient, kind, and the life of the party. Our favorite thing to do is dance, listen to old school R & B, and hangout on the nearest beach!
Ashley Hanchett

Ashley is the wife of Paul Hanchett from New Orleans, LA. She is a realtor in Atlanta, Ga. She brings encouragement and brightness to any situation. She is full of knowledge and wisdom that feeds me constantly. She also feeds me her delicious home meals that have been sustaining me through medical school. Our favorite thing to do is a party in New Orleans, bake and eat sweet treats, and trade new songs from Jhene Aiko.
Paul Hanchett
Best Man
Paul is a lawyer in the metro Atlanta area and Kevin’s oldest brother. He is the founder of The Hanchett Law Firm and is the picture of consistency and resolve! Paul graduated from Morris Brown College with his bachelors degree and graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, La. as the first person to graduate with JD/MBA degrees from Southern! Paul has been a mentor and voice of reason for Kevin. He was born in Tuscaloosa, Al. but was raised in Atlanta, Ga and currently lives in Atlanta, Ga with his wife and kids.
Donald Hanchett, II
Best Man
Donald, II is Kevin’s Guardian Angel and older brother. Donald played an important role in Kevin’s life and helped to toughen Kevin up over the years (as big brothers do). Donald’s creativity and fun loving spirit allowed him to socialize and connect with anyone.
Justin Haynes
Best Man
Justin has been Kevin’s best friend and a lead technician at a BAS company named BASE LABS INC. In the words of Justin, “I’ve know Kevin James since second grade. Ever since then he had the dopest birthday parties and family gatherings. There seemed to always be a golf cart involved and it was clear I wasn’t getting my license anytime soon when I attempted to drive it in Alabama. The dirt roads were smooth until it was time to make a sharp turn. Well I didn’t make it and Kevin had to see my bad driving first hand. I drifted in a ditch beautifully. I don’t remember anyone mentioning a go cart to me after that but I’m sure I could’ve bribed Kevin with a bag of marshmallows if I really wanted to drive it again.” Justin lives in Atlanta, Ga.
George Jackson, II

George, II is Kevin’s cousin, fraternity brother, and best friend since birth. George is from Lithonia, Ga. but lives in Dallas, Tx. working as an mechanical engineer. From sleepovers as kids to both being drum majors and athletes in high school, George has always been there and been someone Kevin can relate to.
Kenneth Duncan
Groomsman
Kenneth is Kevin’s fraternity and line brother. He always has Kevin’s back and he takes that job seriously. Kenneth is a management consultant at Accenture and the Founder and CEO of Renegade Golf company, which is the first black owned golfing apparel and products manufacturer. He is from Ann Arbor, Michigan but currently lives in Atlanta, Ga. In the words of Kenneth, “Kevin is my line brother and my ‘front’ to be exact, which means through any situation in life I have promised to have his back. From there he went on to be my college roommate in a house together and one of my best friends. We traveled to Alabama together, Florida for road trips, and I most cherish our times on the golf course just chatting.”

Alex is Kevin’s fraternity brother and “Spec”! Kevin helped to bring Alex into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and bonded as athletes, hard workers, and Christian men. Alex is a trusted friend with a warm spirit that Kevin can go to play sports with or talk about real life situations. Alex currently works for the Atlanta Hawks.

Cliff and Kevin have been friends since middle school and were both members of the band. Cliff played trombone while Kevin played saxophone. Both became section leaders and maintained their friendship throughout college and beyond while going on crazy Spring Break trips. Cliff currently works for Floor and Decor in Atlanta, Ga.
Tony Carter II

Tony and Kevin met in Albany, GA by way of their girlfriends and bonded on a trip to the Dominican Republic. He is a welder from Atlanta, GA. "I don't have too many stories with Kevin, but he has been a breath of fresh air as a friend. I don't have many Christian friends my age but Kevin. He is always an encouragement in my walk with God, and someone I can count on for uplifting conversation."
