Cocktail Beach Attire is requested which includes cocktail dresses, suits in lighter hues (no white), maxi dresses, nice linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, etc. It will be warm (in the low 80's, but dry heat) so dress accordingly. Also, the Terrace is concrete so heels and nice dress shoes can be worn.
The best way to get to and from the airport is by taxi cab which you can hail upon arrival after grabbing your bags and going through customs. It's about a 10 minute ride to the resorts and was about $10 including tip when we last visited three years ago (may be slightly more expensive now).
Yes!! Once you've checked into the resort, the world is your oyster! Walk up to any bar, cafe, or restaurant and it's all included in the price of your stay! (Dreams guests have full access to only the Dreams side of the resort, whereas Secrets guests have full access to both sides.)
YES! Do not forget to have an updated passport when traveling to Mexico and make sure the passport is valid for another six months before your departure.
Yes, but we would not recommend it. Guests will be charged $95 per person to enter the resort/wedding venue (if you're not staying at Dreams or Secrets) and there will be no transportation to and from wherever you're staying in the town. Both resorts are beautiful and quite large so you will have privacy, but quick access to all the wedding events. The food at all the restaurants is fantastic and so are all the extra perks included with your stay. Worth it for the price and convenience, in our opinion.
As soon as possible. There are multiple weddings happening the same weekend as ours so make your reservations sooner rather than later because it is booking up quick!
