Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but we want our wedding to be your night off! This will be an adult only event

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOTELS TO THE SERVICE?

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The venue opens for wedding guests at 3:30pm and the ceremony starts at 4pm. Please plan to arrive by 3:45pm to make sure you have enough time to grab a drink and your seat

Does the wedding venue have parking?

Answer

Yes, parking is available on site and guests are welcome to leave their vehicle until noon the next day

Can we stay in a house rental instead of a hotel?

Answer

Of course! There are lots of options if you rather rent a house, please contact me if you'd like the list provided by my venue. Just keep in mind that the wedding transportation will only be picking up and dropping off from downtown

Do we need to rent a car?

Answer

You do not have to rent a car unless you want to. Uber and Lyft service Asheville and there is also an Asheville ride service that is similar called AVL Ride. In our experience when visiting, the wait time downtown is usually about 5-10 minutes, however if you are further outside the city they can be up to 20-30 minutes. Also if you do rent a car from AVL, we recommend reserving ahead of time as the airport is so small, the number of car rentals are limited

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and post-dinner dancing will all take place outdoors (please pray for sunshine!) Both the inside and outdoor spaces will be available to guests throughout the entire evening.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Do you know us? Of course! There will be some of Asheville's famous craft beers consisting of a light, hoppy, dark, and gluten free options. There will also be red, white and sparkling wine with some liquor options (vodka, tequila and whiskey) along with soft drinks. The bar opens at 3:30pm before the ceremony

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Of course we are hoping for beautiful sunny weather but we won't know until the day of. However, typical Asheville in May is high of 75 and low of 53 degrees. Please be sure to check the forecast before your trip since so much of the event is outside. If we do encounter rain, the outside areas will be covered with tents

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

There will not be a gift table at the wedding as we are doing a honeymoon fund instead of a gift registry. However if you do decide to purchase a gift, please mail directly to Lauren and Anthony's apartment to preserve the space needed to travel with our wedding items
