What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Dress code for our wedding is black tie. Guest are expected to wear black.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The wedding and reception will take place at The Faulkner 518 E. Capitol Street Jackson Mississippi 39201.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guest can head straight to the first floor for cocktail hour where we will be serving food and beverages.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults only event. So that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided.

Yes there will be an open bar.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Yes. Our wedding coincides with Jackson States homecoming weekend. There will be lots of events to attend.
