The Greek singer Tsalikis was coming to Chicago so Demetra and her friends got tickets for the show. Unfortunately at the time, Covid happened and the concert had to be rescheduled to March 11th--a Friday night. Those that know Demetra know that she likes to stay in on Friday nights. Little did she know, that specific night, she would meet her future husband. That night, they met for the first time but only shared a brief "hello". Georgios saw Demetra and asked a friend about her. Two days later, he sent her a message and asked her to talk on the phone. The first phone conversation lasted over 4 hours! After hanging up the phone on that first night, Demetra knew this could be the start of something special. And, she was right!

Georgios took Demetra to where they shared their first kiss and proposed.

On September 19th, 2023, our son Ioannis "Yianni" Grigoriadis was born.
