FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Of course! They are family too 😜 We would just like to know if they will or will not be attending the wedding. If the little one's will be attending. Please be mindful of them and look after your kids.

Question

How long do we need to stay in Hawaii?

Answer

The length of your stay is entirely up to you. We just hope you will join us on our actual wedding day. Since it will likely require almost a whole day to travel to Hawaii and a day to travel back, we suggest you view this as a vacation and stay for at least 3 days. Ultimately the choice is yours.

Question

Should I book anything now?

Answer

If you find accommodations that suit your needs then go for it. The wedding date is set and we will communicate any unforeseen changes. We are currently working with a travel agent named Paula. She can help you with any accommodations for flights, hotels/resorts and car rentals. Her cell number is 1-808-224-9324 or you can call her office at 1-808-263-1192. Just remember there is a 6 hr time difference between Florida and Hawaii and 5 hour difference between Texas and Hawaii.

Question

What do we pack for our flight to Hawaii?

Answer

Our first visit to Hawaii we packed everything but the kitchen sink😆. You don't have to... here are a list of things I recommend you bring to your trip. phone chargers portable chargers hand held games earphones books/magazines/coloring books (don't forget your crayons) neck pillows face masks small blanket (it gets cold on the plane) some snacks (chips, granola bars, candy, etc) refillable bottle water (make sure the water bottle is empty before boarding the flight) camera backpack/handbag (small enough to fit beneath an airplane seat but big enough to carry your belongings)

Question

What to do on a long flight to Hawaii?

Answer

Sleep! Catch up on your beauty sleep. I slept for 4 hours straight and it was wonderful. For the remaining hours I watched movies and listened to music. I recommend days before your flight downloading shows, movies and music you are interested in. Gene played his Nintendo Switch most of the flight, but make sure you bring a portable charger. Hands down one of the best gifts I ever gave him. He was kept busy for hours😄.

Question

Do you have any movies/shows/music you recommend to pass the time on the flight?

Answer

Yep, how about Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or Harry Potter marathon? I promise these movies will not disappoint and tend to be longer. As far as shows try Disney+ which has a number of great shows. I am currently making a music playlist for you all to listen during your flight. It contains a little bit of everything to country, oldies, spanish music, and everything in between.

Question

What food can I NOT bring to the Island of Hawaii?

Answer

Hawaii is a wonderful island partly because they care so deeply about their ecosystem. On the flight you will be asked if you have any fruits, nuts or plants with you. If so, you will need to discard them before exiting the plane.

Question

Can we bring food back from our Hawaii Trip?

Answer

Yes you can but you have to fill out a form regarding what you are bringing back to your state. Our airline flight attendants distributed the form to us. If you had any questions they were there to help you out.

Question

Don't see your question here?🤔

Answer

Reach out to me through Facebook, Instagram, call or text me. I will gladly answer any question you have and no question is a silly question. Really, ask me anything.
