Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at Silver Oaks Chateau. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside (weather permitting), and the reception will be held indoors at the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat.

Question

How do we get there?

Answer

We will have transportation to and from the Comfort Inn Hotel and the venue and encourage you to use it! The shuttle will begin running at 5pm and will run approximately every 30 minutes. However, if you are not staying at one of the designated hotels you can drive or use an Uber or Lyft. If you choose to drive there is a large parking lot at the venue, but we ask that all are cars gone from the lot at the end of the night.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for our wedding. No jeans! We invite you to join in the wedding's color palette by wearing neutrals. Think blacks, shades of tan, or shades of green (olive, hunter green, dark green).

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event (the only exception are the little ones in our bridal party/immediate family) Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

Question

Can I take Pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professional photographers and a videographer who will capture those special moments and we would be upset for any well intentioned guests' phone to block their views. We will, of course, share our photos with you afterwards. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you- get ready to celebrate!
