Renegade Craft Fair
If you're looking for something to do Saturday or Sunday afternoon before the wedding (and the weather is nice!) you'll definitely want to check out this free event! Renegade Craft Fair hosts 400+ incredible makers and designers from all over the US – and features local DJs, workshops, art installations, food trucks, nonprofits, cocktails, craft beers, and so much more! Highly recommend!
Pequod's Pizza
If you've got a pizza craving, this place is the place to go! They're the unofficial reigning champ among locals for the best Chicago Style deep dish pizza ("pan pizza" as listed on their menu) in Chicago!
Chinatown
If you're looking for a little adventure, take the water taxi from downtown Chicago to Chinatown for lots of options for a delicious lunch or dinner! Our favorite place to go is Hing Kee (2140 S Archer Ave) for the AH-MAZING soup dumplings (Xiaolongbao)!! If you've never had them, you MUST try them! There's also a candy store that's filled with unique Asian candies and treats, bubble tea shops, markets, gift shops, etc. Definitely worth checking out!
The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club
Regulation-sized shuffleboard, need we say more? This place is a vintage-Florida inspired shuffleboard palace with tropical drinks, a rotating cast of food trucks, oversized and regular sized board games, and a roof deck! If you're looking for a little something different to do during the afternoon, this is the place to be!
The Aviary
If you're into molecular gastronomy or looking for a truly unique experience, the Aviary does food and cocktails like you've probably never seen! You can go for bites and/or cocktails or a 5-7 course food and cocktail pairing! Guarantee you will not be disappointed! Just an FYI, reservations book up quickly!
Chicago River Boat Architecture Tours
If the weather is nice, this boat tour is a great way to learn a little history about Chicago and some of the iconic buildings!
