Amanda & Davis
THE PROPOSAL
Amanda rolled out of a tent and quietly walked to Snowmass Lake to find Davis standing alone on the shore. Davis had risen early and found a perfect place in the wild to watch the sun rise off the glassy lake.*
Davis recounted a time (before they had fallen in love) when they were simply friends at happy hour. During this meeting, Davis took a ring off of Amanda's right hand, placed the ring on the wedding finger of her left hand and jokingly said ‘with this ring, I thee wed’. That night, Davis asked Amanda to go on a date with him.
She said yes.
Amanda didn’t remember that moment in 2013. As it turns out, Davis made sure the story was kept untold until sunrise on August 12, 2018 when he reminded her that the first time he put a ring on her finger was before they even went on their first date.
Davis asked her if he could put a ring on her finger once more, this time forever.
She said yes.
*unbeknownst to Amanda, Davis carefully hid a camera in a tree to capture these awesome photos
