Alex and I met through our very good friends Kat & Josh Petty. Kat and I were close friends and sorority sisters at Auburn University. Alex and Josh grew up together in the Atlanta area and have been friends for years. Kat & Josh tied the knot and eventually introduced us after I moved back from the West Coast. Alex and I haven't gone a day without each other since.

Alex and I always have our date nights in Downtown Woodstock, which is also where we call home. As we walked up to our favorite rooftop restaurant, Alex got on one knee and asked me to marry him. After a few tears and hugs, I heard cheers from the rooftop and realized he had surprised me with having my brother who lives in DC, his daughter Ali, and our closest friends watching from above. We popped some bubbles and had the best night with friends and family!
