Lightrail to Downtown Seattle

The Link Lightrail line is fast and easy to catch directly from the airport to downtown Seattle and beyond. Several stops include Westlake, University St, Pioneer Square, Stadium, or SODO stations.

Downtown Seattle is about a 30 minute car ride from the airport. There is a designated pick-up spot for Rideshare apps (Uber, Lyft); look for signs at the arrivals floor. Again, we encourage others to coordinate carpooling if arriving/leaving close to the same time!

Seattle Neighborhoods and Safety information

SODO itself does not have any hotels or AirBNB stays, as it is an industrial area. Recommended areas to stay include: Downtown Seattle, West Seattle, Beacon Hill, or South Lake Union (15 minutes drive or less). Queen Anne, Ballard, and Fremont are some other very quintessential neighborhoods, just a little more of a distance from the venue. We recommend against walking around the Pioneer Square, Westlake Center, or Belltown neighborhoods alone, late at night.
