The quintessential Seattle landmark with bustling restaurants and vendors. We think it's great for both tourists and locals. You can add your mark to the Gum Wall, catch a glimpse of Beecher's cheese factory in-action, fish throwing at the market, and sample local produce. Our favorite bites include the fresh donut holes stand, lobster rolls from Pike Place Chowder, refreshments from Rachel's Ginger Beer, and pastries from Le Panier bakery.
One of our favorite parks with an amazing view of the city and the water from the top of the hill. Perfect for a picnic if the weather is nice out.
This isn't your regular neighborhood Starbucks. The Reserve serves exclusive, expertly poured, craft espresso drinks, and even has food and alcohol. A great place to get classy-looking souvenirs. Original location downtown (close to Pike Place), and another in SODO.
Where David and Lea had their post-engagement dinner. Make reservations ahead of time for an omakase (multi-course fine dining sushi experience, directly served by the chef). This classic Seattle restaurant was founded by Shiro, an apprentice of the famous Japanese chef Jiro Ono. If you see Chef Sean, tell him that we sent you!
One of the best ice cream chains in Seattle. They have fun, creative flavors, and the seasonal options are constantly changing.
Literally a bar selling slices of pie fresh out of the oven, with a side of ice cream. Cocktails are dessert inspired. Kind of grungey, pretty tiny, very Seattle-esque. There are multiple locations - Capitol Hill, Ballard, and Phinney Ridge.
