One random evening in September, Dave looked up from the couch as his roommate was heading out the door. “I’m going to grab a drink with Katrina Mentor, do you want to come? Remember her from high school?” Sure, Dave thought. Why not. The moment we sat down, we both knew that there was something different. We built an instant connection, talking of fly fishing, outdoor adventures, & traveling to new places. Mason was there, but he wasn’t really there (sorry Mase). We got lost in our own little world. Before we left the bar, we had plans to see each other that weekend. Dave planned on a first date; Katrina planned on a free fly-fishing lesson. We went to Dewey Lake and casted into crystal clear waters with Mt. Rainier glowing in the background. Little did we know that in six years, we’d be standing on the summit of that mountain, promising to spend the rest of our lives together. We are beyond excited to celebrate with all of you!
