Our wedding reception and hotel block are located in Ybor City! This area of Tampa is known for its boutiques and vintage shops on 7th Avenue, which also hosts Cuban and Latin American eateries. The Centro Ybor mall offers indie fast food, bars, and a cinema. Hop on the TECO Line Streetcar and enjoy a FREE ride through downtown to Amalie Arena Station (Stop 8) to enjoy waterfront views, food, and drinks at Sparkman Wharf (one of our favorite spots).
One of our favorite places in Tampa, Sparkman Wharf is a modern waterfront area featuring hip restaurants & shops, a beer garden, street-food stands, bowling, and live music. Finish off your time here with visit to the Florida Aquarium, or scenic walk down the Tampa Riverwalk.
The 2.4-mile Tampa Riverwalk (which you may recognize from our Save the Date) is a walkable, bikable, Segway-able path connecting culture and entertainment. Along the Riverwalk you can enjoy a walk along the water, which may or may not lead you to Sail Pavilion for a drink at the only 360 degree open air waterfront bar in Tampa. You can also enjoy Tampa's outdoor scene at Curtis Hixon Park or hop on the Pirate Water Taxi for a ride along the Hillsborough River and hop off at Armature Works for some food and drinks.
