Located downtown Missoula offering seasonal house cocktails & small-batch spirits distilled in an industrial bar.

Top Hat

134 West Front Street, Missoula, MT 59802

One of Darby's favorite places to eat. Great food, cocktails, and usually, music.

Plonk Missoula

322 North Higgins Avenue, Missoula, MT 59802

Plonk offers fine wine, food, cocktails, service and atmosphere. Weather you are looking for appetizers or a nice dinner experience, plonk is a great place to check out.

KettleHouse Amphitheater

605 Cold Smoke Avenue, Bonner-West Riverside, MT 59823

KettleHouse Amphitheater is our favorite concert venue near Missoula! If you are able to get tickets to a concert while you are in town for the wedding, you won't regret it. If going to a concert doesn't work out with you plans, you can swing into their brewery on your drive from Missoula to Ovando.

Canyon River Golf Club

1268 Bandmann Trail, Missoula, MT 59802

A beautiful golf course just outside of Missoula that you will pass on your way up to Ovando. This is a fun and challenging 18 hole course.

Double Arrow Golf Course

419 Golf View Drive, Seeley Lake, MT 59868

Beautiful mountain views from this 18 hole course located in Seeley Lake. If you like to golf, this is a great and close place to play!

Blackfoot Pathways: Sculpture in the Wild

Montana 200, Lincoln, MT 59639

A funky and fun art installation in the woods. Sculptors have been invited to create significant site-specific works of art using the materials - natural and industrial - that are associated with the community's economic and cultural traditions. The whole experience is outside and takes about 1-2 hours to walk through everything.

Garnet Ghost Town

Garnet, MT 59832

One thousand people called Garnet home in the 1890s as they scoured the mountains for gold. Largely abandoned 20 years later when the gold ran out, today the town is well-preserved and offers a glimpse into the struggles of those early miners and homesteaders.

Glacier National Park

West Glacier, MT

Glacier holds a very special place in our hearts, as this is where we first met. The park covers about one million acres of land, and contains 25 “active” glaciers. Only about a 2.5 hour drive from Ovando and a 3 hour drive from Missoula. There are countless hiking trails, lakes, and rivers to explore. Some of our favorite things to do in the park are fishing the North Fork Flathead River, hiking the Highline trail, or swimming in Lake McDonald.

Seeley Lake

Seeley Lake, MT

Seeley Lake is only a 30 minute drive from Ovando. Near by is several lakes to recreate in including, Salmon Lake, Placid Lake, and Seeley Lake. Boat rentals are available here if anyone is interested in that. If you are recreating in Seeley Lake, make sure to grab lunch at Lindey's Bayburgers at lakeside!
