Our wedding will be western semi-formal/dressy casual. Please wear whatever makes you feel good and want to dance! Keep in mind that we are getting married in a hay field, on a ranch, in August. Make sure to wear shoes you are comfortable in outside and be prepared for all types of weather. Boots, jeans, western hats, fringe, and bright summer colors are all welcome!!
We do not have a block reserved, unfortunately. Ovando does not have a ton of options for places to stay in the area. We recommend research Airbnb's or VRBO's in Ovando, Seeley Lake, and Lincoln if you would like to have a house to stay in. There are hotels and likely the most housing options in Seeley Lake.
There will be night-of camping available at the McNally Ranch on August 24th. Camping is available the night of the wedding to avoid any drinking and driving. We please ask everyone to make separate arrangements if you plan to come to town early or extend your trip. If you plan to camp on the ranch, please reach out to Darby and Mike at sigginswedding@gmail.com.
If you plan to camp the night of the wedding, you can come and set up at 3PM, an hour before the wedding!
For many of you, this will be your first time to Ovando, maybe even Montana. Since campers can only stay the night of the 24th, we recommend looking for accommodations in Missoula, Seeley Lake, Lincoln, or the rare Airbnb/ VRBO in Ovando. Places in Ovando will book out quickly due to this event, so try not to wait till the last minute!
Montana is know for it's unpredictable weather and everything will be taking place outdoors. The average temperature for the end of August is 80°F, but can cool off a bit in the evenings. Make sure to have some layers just in case!
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you!
The address on the invite will map you to Eloise's house. We will have signs and balloons placed around to guide you to the hay field.
No! There is a little bit of cell service in the town of Ovando and pockets where you have it, but in the hay field where the event is, you likely will not have cell service.
