Enjoy the long downhill biking fun of Colorado's Vail Pass! The Rebel Sports shuttle will take you from Breckenridge to the top of Vail Pass where you will be able to ride down the paved bike path that meanders down the scenic mountain pass. Ride the bike path 15 miles into Frisco, you will be able to let gravity do most of the hard work.
There are mountain biking trails for all levels in and around Summit County. Bikes are available to be rented at Copper, or at Rebel Sports in Frisco. If you're staying at Copper, you can also take advantage of their "bike haul," by purchasing a day ticket, which will give you and your bike access to the chair lift all day to ride up and bike down the trails on the mountain. Bike haul tickets are 50% off when you rent a bike directly through Copper.
There’s nothing quite like mountain views and fresh air. Take it all in without any hard work on a scenic chairlift ride on the Woodward Express lift. Bring a lunch and make a day of it with a hike back down to West Village.

Rainbow Lake is a great hike just outside of Frisco. Short and sweet (1.5 miles round trip), this locals’ favorite trail eventually leads to the Peaks Trail, which goes all the way to Breckenridge if so motivated. Drive or walk to this trailhead. Head west on Main Street Frisco, turn south onto Second Avenue and follow this road about 5 blocks then take a right on South Cabin Green. Cross over the paved recreation pathway after stopping at the stop sign (use caution and yield to users of the path) to get to the trailhead parking area. In the parking area you will see a sign with an arrow that says Rainbow Lake. Venture through a wetland on a boardwalk, through aspen trees and lodgepole pines until you arrive at a beaver pond called Rainbow Lake. This trail also connects to Miners Creek Road, the Peaks trail that heads to Breckenridge and the Masontown/Mount Royal trail.
