Travel Note
Please make sure your passport is valid, or leave ample time to renew or get one. You do not need a passport to book your flights, but you must have a valid passport at the time of check-in for your flights. If you are able to attend and want to book your flights (the earlier the better as prices tend to increase over time) you can do so without a passport.
Flight
We recommend flying into Querétaro International Airport (QRO), which is an hour away from San Miguel de Allende. Your second option is to fly into León/Guanajuato- Bajio Airport (BJX), which is about 1.5 hours from San Miguel de Allende. Quick tip- when you google flights, please make sure your arrival city is Santiago de Querétaro (QRO) or León (BJX). If you input "San Miguel de Allende," the search engine automatically shows flights to Mexico City. Mexico City is a 3.5 hour drive from San Miguel. We recommend flying into Mexico City as a layover OR if you would like to spend a few days there before the wedding. There are several flights per day to and from Mexico City, BJX and/or QRO. If looking to travel via bus from Mexico City to San Miguel de Allende, we highly recommend using ETN.

Additionally, many hotels and Airbnbs often offer transportation options for a fee; simply inquire at the front desk or with your host at the time of booking. If you're planning to take an Uber, keep in mind that rates may vary depending on the time, and it can sometimes take longer to get one once in the Zona Centro due to the small narrow streets. We recommend checking the app in advance or considering alternate transportation if needed!

Travel Note
We do not recommend renting a car. The narrow and hilly cobblestone streets are a large part of San Miguel's charm, it would be very difficult to drive and parking is very limited. Most things in the city are a 5-10 minute walk. The city is extremely walk-able but please, pack comfortable shoes to better navigate the cobblestone streets!
