Formal attire please. Suits for men, dresses of any length for women. What's important is that you feel good on the dance floor!
The celebration begins promptly at 5:00pm. We recommend taking a taxi or Uber to the Galley, though it is walkable for those inclined. Transportation will be provided back to town at the end of the evening.
We don't recommend bringing a car over, especially if you're staying in town, though it's possible via the Steamship Authority "slow boat." The downtown area is very walkable, and there are bike paths all over the island. Taxi and Ubers are also plentiful. You can rent bikes on island from Young's and Nantucket Bike Shop downtown.
While our wedding is an adults-only affair, Nantucket is a great destination for kids if you want to make a family vacation out of the weekend! If you need help finding a babysitter or any baby rentals, please let us know!
Nantucket is a small community with limited medical resources. For the health and safety of everyone attending, as well as the larger Nantucket community, all guests who choose to join us on Nantucket must be fully vaccinated. In addition, we are suggesting that people take a COVID test prior to traveling to Nantucket. Note that our reception will be taking place in an open-air tent on the beach. Nantucket has recently instituted an indoor mask mandate, and certain businesses are requiring proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID test in order to enter.
