Union Station has been recently renovated and is a great place for all ages! There is a new aquarium and an indoor high ropes course if you need to get out of the heat, or you can take a climate controlled Ferris Wheel to get a gorgeous view of the city. They’ve also added mini golf and a variety of restaurants, food stands, and carnival games!
Totally free and rated one of the best zoos in the country, this place is always a fun spot to spend a few hours. Great for families but always fun for adults too! Also, it happens to be ZOOTOBERFEST over our wedding weekend!
The City Museum is so much more than meets the eye and the name is a tad misleading… it is actually a giant indoor playground built out of recycled factory parts. This place embraces everyone’s inner child.
The Art Museum has a variety of exhibits and the surrounding area is beautiful! It stands at the top of Art Hill, where Danni and Neil can be found sledding in the winter or listening to music in the summer.

Neil and Danni shared one of their first dates at the Sasha’s on Shaw in Tower Grove, but there is also one conveniently located closer to the hotel. Delicious food and great wine!
Broadway Oyster Bar has been a staple for Neil and Danni since day one! This hole in the wall hosts the best local artists and is oozing with New Orleans vibes. Never resist the Shrimp Voodoo and the Oysters Rockefeller.
